ON THE NEED TO IMPROVE THE STATE REGIONAL MANAGEMENT OF THE INVESTMENT ATTRACTIVENESS OF THE DONETSK PEOPLE'S REPUBLIC

Abstract

In the current difficult socio-economic situation, the ongoing integration of the Donetsk People's Republic into the economic space of the Russian Federation, as well as against the background of unprecedented challenges posed by the fighting, destroyed infrastructure and the outflow of qualified personnel, the issue of increasing the investment attractiveness of the territories of the DPR is of paramount importance. Effective state regional management in this area is not just desirable, but a vital condition for ensuring the sustainable development of the Republic in the medium and long term. The region's economy, aggravated by the consequences of the conflict and the transition period of integration, requires immediate and decisive stabilization and development measures. The current state of investment attractiveness probably does not meet the needs of the Republic.
