The article presents the results of research on the effectiveness of the use of rolling stock of the specialized transport enterprise of the potash industry TUP «Kaliyspetstrans», on which the final performance indicators of any motor transport enterprise largely depend. At the same time, the effectiveness of the enterprise should correlate with the processes taking place in the region and have a positive impact on its socio-economic sustainability. A special permit from the Ministry of Transport and Communications of the Republic of Belarus allows the company under study to provide services for the transportation of goods and passengers not only on the territory of the Republic of Belarus, but also in international traffic. Of the available trucks, almost three dozen units are registered with Gospromatomnadzor, and also have the necessary permits and are equipped for the transportation of dangerous goods. In addition to transporting fuels and lubricants, the company transports (including internationally) oxygen, explosives, argon, nitrogen, acetylene, paint and varnish products, sodium hypochlorite, highly concentrated acids, potassium hydroxide and other types of dangerous goods, which confirms a highly specialized aspect focused on the potash industry. In addition, the company under study has extensive experience in transporting bulky and heavy goods, for which it is necessary to obtain a special travel permit. Transportation of these cargoes contributes to an increase in the total volume of cargo transportation. At the same time, depreciation of the active part of fixed assets, taking into account the useful life, will amount to 62.3%, and maintenance and repair of tractor equipment, diagnostics of rolling stock and its aggregates, other equipment, fixtures and tools is carried out mainly by own repair personnel.
