MANAGEMENT OF THE STATE'S FOREIGN ECONOMIC POLICY

Abstract

The article presents a comprehensive analysis of theoretical approaches to defining the essence of the concept of "foreign economic policy of the state" in the works of domestic and foreign researchers. The article considers the role and importance of foreign economic policy in the public administration system, as well as its impact on the socio-economic development of the country. Special attention is paid to the relationship between the dynamics of foreign economic activity and internal economic processes. The periodization of the foreign economic policy of the Russian Federation is given, reflecting the evolution of its priorities in accordance with the changing strategic development goals. The thesis about the insufficient institutionalization of decision-making and implementation processes in this area is substantiated, which reduces the effectiveness of the applied management tools and mechanisms. As a result, this negatively affects the coherence of foreign and domestic policy, making it difficult to achieve strategic goals of socio-economic development. The research is comprehensive, combining theoretical analysis, historical retrospect, institutional assessment and practical recommendations. The solution of the tasks set made it possible to identify the key problems of the foreign economic policy of the Russian Federation and propose ways to improve it.
