THEORETICAL ASPECTS OF ENTERPRISE SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT MANAGEMENT

Abstract

The article studies some theoretical aspects of sustainable enterprise development management as a key element of economic system. The comparative analysis of scientific approaches to the interpretation of the concepts of «enterprise sustainability», «sustainable development of the enterprise» and «management of sustainable development of the enterprise» is carried out. The historical and conceptual foundations of the theory of sustainable development, its evolution and integration into the modern management discourse are considered. The necessity of expanding the classical three-component model by means of the managerial component is substantiated. The key characteristics and structural elements of sustainable development of the enterprise, as well as the actual requirements for its provision in modern conditions are identified. The practical significance of the study lies in the identification of factors that determine the sustainability of enterprises in modern conditions. The necessity of an integrated approach to sustainable development management is emphasized, with a focus on the role of the state in regulating and supporting enterprises, especially in the conditions of a special military operation.
