In the article, the authors examine the trends in the development of global logistics, systematize the risk factors of logistics of external commodity supply of the Russian economy. Empirically record systemic limitations in the development of multimodal transportation from China and its infrastructure problems in the Eastern polygon, which will affect the cost and timing of delivery, increasing uncertainty in planning the risk management of the supply of oil and gas companies tied to external suppliers. A wide range of issues is considered, including the aggravation of the problem of payments, for example, through Turkish banks, which have tightened the compliance system in relation to Russian clients, which will sharply limit the role of Turkey as a logistics hub, including in the implementation of parallel import logistics schemes.
