The article examines the existing methods of personnel search and evaluation for the civil service. The article presents tools for personnel search through information technology, as well as using classical methods of civil service personnel search, which include personal and professional diagnostics. A comprehensive integrated model for evaluating civil service personnel is presented, which systematizes the current requirements for the competence of managers. The constraints and problems of the development of the system of search and evaluation of public administration personnel are identified, and the need to improve the system of training and retraining of personnel is substantiated.
