Abstract
The article addresses issues related to the particularities of the "Belt and Road" initiative's impact on the multilateral relations of Russia and other countries, including China and European countries within the framework of the Eurasian Economic Corridor. The study covers the period from the establishment of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) in 2015 to the current geopolitical realities of 2024. The main focus is on identifying the key advantages and challenges that Russia faces in the process of integration into this project. The objective of the research is to conduct a political and economic analysis of the Eurasian Economic Corridor within the «Belt and Road» initiative. The concept of the international initiative «One Belt, One Road» is defined. The main economic indicators of the EAEU by sectors are examined. The key advantages of Russia's participation in the Eurasian Economic Union are studied. The main political and economic issues that hinder the development of the Russian economy within the framework of the Eurasian Economic Union are investigated. An analysis of the dynamics of Russia's trade turnover with the EAEU member states is conducted. An assessment of Russia's export-import operations in the international market is performed. The scientific novelty of the research lies in the development of a roadmap for Russia's development within the framework of the «Belt and Road» initiative for the period up to 2028, which includes specific measures for the development of transport and logistical infrastructure, minimizing economic risks, and enhancing competitiveness.
