PROBLEMS OF METHODOLOGY IMPROVEMENT IN THE RUSSIAN SCIENCE OF LAW

Modern transformation of social relations, increasing foreign policy pressure and the growing role of the state-civilization actualize the need to rethink the methodological foundations of the Russian science of law. The article considers the key problems of the methodology of legal knowledge: the ideological limitations of the past, the break from the socio-humanitarian base, the gap between theory and legal practice. Special attention is paid to the search for new methodological guidelines – axiological, integrative and interdisciplinary approaches – capable of ensuring the relevance, scientific validity and practical applicability of legal research in the context of modern challenges. The necessity of forming a new methodological paradigm combining scientific rigor and value orientation as a condition for sustainable development of the legal system of Russia is substantiated. The results of the study can be used in the study and teaching of the general theory of law, development of strategies of normative regulation and improvement of law-making activities.Downloads
