The article is devoted to a comprehensive analysis of social and political conflicts in the context of the transformation of the modern system of international relations. The key conflict resolution mechanisms, including dialogue, mediation, and arbitration, are examined, emphasizing their role in achieving sustainable solutions. Special attention is paid to Russia's role in world politics, its participation in international organizations (UNО, SCO) and peacekeeping initiatives, as well as strategies to counter the isolation policy pursued by Western countries. The work uses an interdisciplinary approach combining methods of conflictology, political science, economics and sociology. The historical analogies and the evolution of international systems (Westphalian, Vienna, Versailles-Washington, Yalta-Potsdam) are analyzed, which makes it possible to identify patterns in the development of conflicts and mechanisms for their regulation. Special emphasis is placed on the formation of a multipolar world order, where Russia, China and India act as independent centers of power, resistant to sanctions pressure. The study demonstrates that modern conflicts are becoming complex, encompassing economic, cultural and social aspects. The key types of conflicts in the world political dimension (military-political, economic, ethnonational, etc.), as well as their main forms of manifestation (wars, terrorism, genocide, etc.) are highlighted. The role of integration associations (BRICS+, SCO) is emphasized as platforms for coordinating interests in a multipolar environment. It is concluded that it is necessary to develop preventive diplomacy mechanisms and flexible interaction formats to minimize the risks of global destabilization.
