THE PLACE AND ROLE OF RUSSIA IN THE MODERN WORLD SYSTEM

Abstract

Interactions in the context of modern changes in the global architecture of the world order are becoming increasingly important, especially in the context of increasing multipolarity. In this situation, Russia is striving to establish itself as one of the key players in the international arena, capable of influencing the most important aspects of global politics and economics. It is reflected in the country’s active participation in multilateral forums such as BRICS, SCO, and other regional organizations, where Russia supporters strengthening cooperation and mutually addressing pressing issues. The current prerequisites, factors and problems affecting the formation of a new world order are considered. The spheres and signs of the crisis of the previous model of the world order are revealed. The directions of reforming the world order from the point of view of Russian interests are outlined. Taking into account current trends, the prospects for the development of Russia and Belarus in the new paradigm of the world order are assessed.
