DIGITALIZATION AND INFORMATIZATION OF HIGHER EDUCATION

The article considers the issues of digitalization and implementation of programs and projects for informatization of educational processes in Higher Education. It is noted that the development of the educational sphere occurs together with all spheres of society, and therefore the level of informatization of higher educational institutions is directly proportional to the general level of digitalization of society. The article also provides examples of domestic educational products presented on educational platforms and websites. In view of the above, it was noted that an educational electronic platform was created and filled with educational content, individual training courses, blogs that are created, filled and accompany the teacher were created. As for classical higher education, the situation here is heterogeneous, since the level of digitalization and informatization of each individual university directly depends on the level of interest of the university management in this and the solvency (financial, material and technical and human) to implement the latest technologies. These factors are dominant, given the number of universities and the country’s ability to support them and provide a sufficient level of funding. That is why the need for reforming higher education has been proposed, within the framework of which it is proposed to optimize the number of universities, create specialized clusters, create conditions for attracting the best domestic teachers, methodologists, experts for teaching, provide funding for continuous professional development and the level of competence of teachers. Such reforms can be started within the framework of the relevant pilot project. The result of these activities should be a model of Higher Education that would be able to ensure the provision of world-class educational services, the entry of domestic universities into the global market of educational services and a wide presentation of the educational product on leading educational platforms. The purpose of the article is to study the further broad digitalization and informatization of Higher Education. The study was conducted using general scientific methods: analysis, synthesis, classification, methods of qualitative, quantitative and structural analysis of information, as well as methods of observation and comparison.Downloads
